Choreography for Daily Living is an interdisciplinary performance that borrows ideas from Bauhaus experiments to bring together performance, design, video and play. Performers embody daily-living activities such as folding, washing, bathing and cooking, finding spaces of ritual and meditation, while creating metaphors that capture these activities and the objects used to carry them out. The living space includes sculptural objects, home appliances, live feed projections and jazz from the 60’s.
Choreography for Daily Living was commissioned by the Miami Center for Architecture and Design (AIA Miami) to be presented at its annual Gala and was developed in residency at the Historic Hampton House.
